Camping within Moonlight Basin is only allowed in designated areas by the festival.
MUSICFEST Camping Details and Rules
Campers must enter Friday 8/16 between 10AM and 4PM. For safety reasons, ALL VEHICLES must remain in place until 5AM on Sunday 8/18 and must completely vacate the area by NOON.
All campers must check-in at the Moonlight Basin Entryway, where you will be directed to your designated campground. Campers must have pre-purchased Moonlight MusicFest tickets and camping passes, which will be be verified at check-in. Camping passes must be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle at all times. Wristbands are required to enter the festival and campgrounds, and will be provided at check-in.
For safety and security reasons, only people with camping wristbands are permitted into the campground area.
Camping spots are designated in advance and may not be changed. Tents, Pop-ups and RVs are all welcome. No more than 1 car and 2 tents per campsite, 6 people max. Camping is "in-the-rough" on a flat, dirt parking lot (no hookups for electricity or water).
Madison Camping spots are 15’x40’.
Six Shooter Camping spots are 15’x25’. Shuttles from this location are available every 30 min, or campers may hike or bike up to the venue along the ski slope trail.
We provide portable toilets, and bear-proof trash/recycling stations
No generators before 7 am or after 10 pm. Quiet time is 2 am. Please be considerate to other campers.
No pets allowed.
No open fires allowed. It's fire season. Gas grills & cook stoves only.
BE BEAR AWARE. Proper food storage required. No coolers, garbage or trash left outside. Bearproof dumpsters and recycling are a short walk away from all camping spots.
No firearms or fireworks allowed.
No drones allowed.
